Demi Minor, the "transgender woman" who impregnated two inmates in jail who shared

A " transgender woman " serving a 30-year sentence in a New Jersey women's prison impregnated two fellow inmates, prompting authorities to transfer her to a men's prison, according to reports.

Demetrius Minor  (Demi Minor), 27, was transferred from the Edna Mahan Correctional Center to the Garden State Juvenile Correctional Center last month, a New Jersey Department of Corrections spokesman said.

Demetrius Minor is serving a 30-year sentence for stabbing his adoptive father to death on July 11, 2011, after he stole a Pontiac Grand Prix at gunpoint from a couple. In full flight, he broke into his father's house and stabbed him. Font

Minor, who is serving a 30-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter (she killed her 69-year-old adoptive father with multiple stab wounds ) is the only "woman" in a vulnerable unit at the new prison, according to the spokeswoman. The incident came to light only after Minor wrote on a website, Justice 4 Demi, on Friday that she said her guards abused her during her transfer and also put her on suicide watch.

However, she has now alleged that she was misunderstood and sexually abused during her transfer. She wrote in her blog post that the new facility had put her on suicide watch "due to the fact that she had hung me in the van." She also alleged that when she asked a DOC officer to strip- search her , the prison guards refused.

In another publication, she stated that she was beaten during the transfer. She claimed that while briefly held at the New Jersey State Prison, officers referred to her as "a man" more than 30 times.

"You have violated my right to be safe and free from sexual harassment by putting me in one of the most violent juvenile correctional facilities," Minor wrote. "While living here at GYSC, I found myself (sic) under attack from young inmates who are immature and just plain ignorant of a person like me."

Minor's transfer to a men's prison came after it was revealed that he had impregnated two inmates at the women's prison. However, those were not rapes and she impregnated them after having "consensual sexual relations with another incarcerated person."

Minor added that while she was allowed to keep her makeup, she is aware that wearing it "is a death wish." In her blog post, Minor stated, "I have accepted that I am in a male institution, but I have not and will not and will not accept that I am anything other than a woman who happens to be transgender."

New Jersey adopted a policy in 2021 that allows inmates to be detained based on their desired gender identity. The DOC told NJ.com that it still operates under the policy, but "the department is currently reviewing the policy for housing incarcerated transgender people with the intent to implement minor modifications."

Minor, 16, on trial for murdering his adoptive father  Theotis Butts

Minor was around 16 years old when he broke into Theotis Butts' home in Gloucester Township, New Jersey. Butts had taken him in as an adopted son, but at the time of the crime, he was no longer residing with Butts, according to an NJ.com report at the time. Minor repeatedly stabbed Butts, 69, before fleeing to New York, where he was arrested.
